Born July 18, 1912, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Ira B. and Georgia Ann Stewart Thomas.
She attended the Gospel Chapel and was a member of the AARP.
Mrs. Etter was employed by the J. Glenn Benedict Law Office for many years, retiring 1990. Her husband, Earl C. Etter, died in March 1985.
Surviving are one daughter, D. Jeanne (Mrs. John) Moore, Baltimore, Md.; one step-grandaughter, Darci Moore, Heartland MI; and one sister, Nellie Hocking, Carlisle.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
