He married Marian Frances White (1918-2011) on 30 December 1942, in Tonopah, Nye, Nevada. He lived in Wayne, McClain, Oklahoma in 1920 and Marlow, Stephens, Oklahoma in 1930. He died on 14 September 2000, in Ashton, Fremont, Idaho, at the age of 81, and was buried in Pineview Cemetery, Ashton, Fremont, Idaho.
