Marion and Milo Worden were twins born to Asahel B. and Sarah M. (Northrop) Worden on February 20, 1858, in Andes, Delaware County New York, USA, per Worden family history and census records.

Twins Marion and Milo Worden, at age 22, were workers on a farm in Idaho per the 1880 US Federal Census. About 1897 or 1898, Marion and Milo traveled north to the Yukon Territory of Alaska after the Klondike Gold Strike, along with an estimated 100,000 other prospectors. The 1910 census lists Marion and Milo in Alaska at #155 on Birch Creek in the Circle Mining District, approximately 100 miles Northeast of Fairbanks.

Marion Worden died in Alaska, July 1, 1919, as recorded by Milo as the informant on Marion's Death Certificate obtained from the Territory of Alaska, Office of Vital Statistics, dated 1 July 1919, signed by Dr. F de la Vergne M.D. Recorded 23 April 1920 Book No 1, Record of Certificates of Deaths, at page 120. Fairbanks Precinct, Fairbanks, Div'n No 4, Alaska. Registered No 54102. Source: Family Search by Marjorie Jo Mock.

Marion Worden is buried at Clay Street Cemetery in Fairbanks, Alaska, Pioneer Plot, NE Quarter. According to cemetery records his grave is no longer marked. A number of the small metal markers disappeared with a huge flood. There is, however, a headstone for an Andrew "Andy" Worden who was also born on 2.20.1858, same date as Marion and Milo, with a date of death of 6.30.1919 and buried in Pioneer Plot, NE Quarter #832. The headstone was placed by Igloo No 4 Foundation in 2004. There is confusion about the headstone photo of Andrew "Andy" Worden Memorial #88655248 and that of Marion Worden Memorial #88654604. It has been determined that their records were mixed up and are possibly the same person, so their memorials have been merged.

Marion's twin brother Milo Worden was living in Alaska in the Sitka Pioneer's Home in 1920, after suffering a paralytic stroke. Milo's obituary states he returned to Nebraska in 1920 and lived with his sister Melita "Ann" Worden Holmes in Sherman County. He died in April of 1924 and is buried in the Verdurette Cemetery in Nebraska.
