John Howard Walters, a retired actuarial assistant for Lincoln Income Life Insurance Co., where he worked for 37 years, died at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in Kentucky Baptist Hospital. He was 68 and lived at 124 Fairmeade Road.
He was a member of Beargrass Christian Church and Duvall Masonic Lodge at Bardstown, Ky. He was a native of Hart County, Ky.
Walters is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Glover Button; two sons, Wren Howard and Robert Wendell Walters, both of Frankfort, Ky., and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road, with burial in Bardstown, Ky., Cemetery.
