Rose N. Wolfe, age 86, of Gambier, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012 at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born on March 2, 1926 in Mount Vernon and was the daughter of the late Henry Cleveland Lahmon and Della Fay (Pipes) Lahmon.

Rose was a member of the Gambier Pythian Sisters, Pleasant Grange, TOPS and a longtime member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church and UMW.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Beverly Lahmon of Mount Vernon and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn M. Wolfe in 2004, sisters, Blanche Breece, Sue House and a brother, Stanley Lahmon.

Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00PM at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home, 212 N. Main Street, Mount Vernon and one hour prior to services on Friday. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery.
