Leonard Morehouse
Leonard Morehouse, 76. died at
his home in Chcstertown Saturday
at 4 am., after a long illness. He
formerly resided at Brant Lake.
but had lived in Chestertown for
the last seven years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Minnie Morehouse; two sens, Leon
Morehouse, Pottersville, and James
Morehouse. Chestertown; four
daughters, Mis. Riley Jordan.
Hague, Mrs. Elwyn Youngs. Brant
Lake, Mrs. Ralph Bartlett, Chestertown.
and Mrs. Henry Belden.
North Creek; two half-brothers.
Eli and Byron Mosher, Watervliet;
one sister, Mrs. Cynthia
Clark, Glens Falls; also 48 grandchildren,
20 great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted
Monday at 2 p.m. at the Barton
Funeral Home, Chestertown. The
Rev. George D. Jock, pastor of
the Wesleyan Methodist Church of
Brant Lake, officiated. Burial was
in Leggett Cemetery, Chestertown
