Family lore says Elizabeth fell from a horse and died insane. The only records of her are US Censuses in 1830, 1850 and 1880 (age 50, Single, Patient at St Joseph's Hospital, 4th St, Lexington) and a death notice:
"Miss Elizabeth Bronston, a sister of T S Bronston, died Friday February 10, 1888 in Lexington and was buried in the Richmond Cemetery Monday afternoon."
