Mrs. Anna Absolem, widow of Henry Absolem, died Sunday night at the residence,
827 Wood Street, after a long illness. She was highly regarded in Norfolk and
had been a resident here for several years. She leaves a son, Jerome Absolem of
Princess Anne County; a brother in Washington, DC, and a nephew, Louis Burlass of
Norfolk.
of Norfolk. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock from H. D.
Oliver's funeral apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street. Rev. John E. Wales
will conduct the services and interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
