Seigherdon "Seig" Kindsfather was born January 25, 1919 in Windsor, Weld, Colorado, the youngest son to Jacob Georg and Katherina Kindsfather. In January 1945, Seig married Ottilie Kindsfater daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Kindsfater. Together they had three sons; Kenneth Alan, Douglas Kory, and Gerald Neil.
Seig served in the U. S. Army during World War II and while stationed in New Guinea was infected with malaria. He received treatment for the diease at the Wyoming VA Hospital, but died at the age of 32 from cerebral malaria.
