Leslie "Les" Carlson Sr., 51, of Hartshorne, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester. He was born July, 3, 1960, in Enid, to Vernon and Velora (Gilson) Carlson. He grew up in Enid before starting a career in construction as a concrete worker. He moved around a lot following construction work and had lived in Tupelo the past three years. Due to poor health, he has been with his son, Les Carlson Jr., in Hartshorne for the past month. His hobby and life passion was building and working on cars. Survivors include five sons, Jason James, Heath Carlson, Les Carlson Jr., Jess Carlson and Eric Carlson; 15 grandchildren, and two sisters and a brother, Kristi Webber, Vickie Silvers, Jess Silvers.
