Descendant of General Herkimer dies at 77
Herkimer Sept. 1 - Mrs. Martha Bellinger Foley, 77, descendant of the family of the Revolutionary general, Nicholas Herkimer, died at her home here Tuesday night.
Mrs. Foley was a daughter of the American Revolution, descending from Delia Herkimer, a sister of General Nicholas Herkimer and Col. Peter Bellinger, as well as Col. William Feeter.
She leaves her daughter Bertha Foley Earl, wife of Attorney Ralph D. Earl, Herkimer, three sisters, Mrs. James A, Suiter, Herkimer, Miss Alice Bellinger and Mrs. Helen Knight, Syracuse.
