Arthur was a wonderful, loving man. He was married to Zilpha who had a heart of gold. Their children are; 1) Jacquetta Maxine, 2) Arthur Dale, 3) Roger, 4) Suzanne, 5) Rocklyn and 6) Jonathan. They lived in Boles Acres and raised peacocks and their funny little Dachshunds (I recall at least five). The Schmidt family loved The Lord and they "Lived It". My husband and I were a young military family far away from home when we met the Schmidts. That's when we became extended family. They opened their home to us, had us over for dinner and shared their faith with us. One summer night, there was a Baptist Tent Crusade in town that they took us to. Before the night was over, both my husband and I gave our hearts to Jesus. It was a night that changed the course of our lives for eternity. I thank The Lord that He brought you into our lives, Arthur. Our four children and twelve grandchildren thank you, too. You have touched three generations with sharing Christ. When you went to heaven I'm certain Jesus said, "Well done thou good and faithful servant..." I can still see those beautiful sparkling blue eyes always smiling...Until we meet again dear man... Love you forever, Susan and Brad
