My mother knew Mary Duke as Aunt Marie. Marie was married to Thomas Marsh Gurr and together they had the following children:
Leona Gurr
Thomas Marsh Gurr
Margie Gurr Barnes
Keith Gurr
Ruby Gurr Cox
Carl Gurr

The marriage was not a good marriage so she left Thomas and later married my great great Uncle whom we knew as Uncle Wells. Together they had three more children:
Maurine Duke Payne
Maxine Duke Miller
Mary Jane Duke Tanner
