Terrorist. Al-Moqrin was the leader of the Al-Qaeda terrorist movement in Saudi Arabia. Al-Moqrin and his group called the 'Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula' claimed responsibility for the beheading death of American Paul M. Johnson Jr., on June 17, 2004. Al-Moqrin who trained with Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan was on the list of the most wanted terrorist suspects in Saudi Arabia. He was killed on June 18, 2004, by security forces who had surrounded a group of militants in the neighborhood where he had been, and also where apparently he had had dumped Johnson's body.
