"MARCINKUS
ALEXANDER, 89, of Robbinsville, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2004 at his home. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA. Mr. Marcinkus resided in the Robbinsville area for the past 50 years, he retired from US Steel Corp. of Morrisville, PA after 25 years of service and was the founder of A&M Farm and Garden Center of Robbinsville. He was also a member of St. Gregory the Great RC Church of Hamilton and a member of the NJ Bookkeeper's Association. Son of the late Adolph and Monica Marcinkus, he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anna Hawley Marcinkus, a daughter Lois Ann Wernet, 2 sons, Lawrence A. and Peggy Marcinkus and Robert, who operates the Garden Center with Kathy Acolia, a granddaughter Jennifer Plumeri and a grandson Lawrence A. Marcinkus, Jr. and his wife Michelle. Funeral services will be held on Sat. 8:30 A.M. from the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 A.M. at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the Colonial Home. Contributions may be made in Mr. Marcinkus' memory to the Leukemia Society of America, New Jersey Chapter, 419 N. Black Horse Pike, Mt. Ephraim, NJ 08059."
