Patricia A. "Pattie" Knox, age 65, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Pattie was born on March 15, 1947 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Kenneth J. Kreisa and Eva Mae Pearce. She attended Green Bay East High School and Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On August 4, 1979 Pattie married Robert Knox, Sr. in Manitowoc. She worked in the night club-restaurant industry her whole life, and later owned and operated Studio 8 in Manitowoc, with her husband and family for 26 years. Pattie was the most beautiful, wonderful woman any of us has ever known. We could dream to be like her or walk in her footsteps, but we will never be as strong, loving, or compassionate as her. She has empowered hundreds of friends and she has touched her family in so many unbelievable ways. People want to be surrounded by her beauty inside and out. We can't begin to name the friendships that Pattie has shared or the lives that she has touched. Each of you knows who you are - and for that we are forever grateful. She taught us how to truly love, easily forgive, and live life to the fullest. She taught us how to be proud of each other and to be proud of ourselves. They say that family is the strongest thread in the blanket of life - she was and always will be our blanket. She gave us strength when we were too weak. She gave us hope when the clouds rolled in. She helped us dream bigger even when our dreams felt out of reach. Pattie was an angel living in our presence and we were blessed to have spent so much incredible time with her.
