"Chris" was born to RICHARD "LEE" LEWIS and EUNICE MAE PADRICK LEWIS on a cotton mill village in Kinston, NC. She was married several times, her last husband being Wilbur N. Foy, Sr. Her siblings were, EUNICE LEWIS ; ROSA LEE LEWIS MOFFITT ; MATTIE SUSAN LEWIS ; MARY ELIZABETH "TOOTS" LEWIS RYAN
and husband Eddie; KATHERINE MAE LEWIS ; BRYAN CLIFTON LEWIS, SR. and wife GLENNIE M. MANNING LEWIS ; WHITLEY LEWIS ; ZEALY M. "MARSHGRASS" LEWIS, SR. and RICHARD KERMIT LEWIS .
She is survived by her brother Ralph Donald Lewis 15 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece. She was my dad's oldest sister, and I always remember her as a very petite and classy lady. She always had red nail polish on and bright red lipstick. Aunt Chris was always a happy lady and I remember her constantly humming a happy tune. She always had a room for her 'shoes' no matter where she lived. (And my daughter takes after her Great Aunt Chris in her love for shoes!) She is deeply missed.

Aunt Chris died of emphysema and cancer.
