Died of consumption. Daughter of Alexander Hays and Nancy (Boldon) Hays. There is some confusion over the location of her burial as the WVVR death index for her notes she is buried in the "Hays cemetery." Apparently, all the headstones were moved from the Hays Cemetery to the Friendly Cemetery. However, there are also markers in the Hays Cemetery - so there are two Find-a-Grave memorial records for Cordelia (and others). In 1999 Gary Patterson visited the Friendly Cemetery and recorded the headstones there, including one for Brewer, Cordelia E., born 10 Oct 1872 and died 18 Jun 1894, wife of Alex, 21y 8m 8d. Not much room for error in that. While the dates aren't in exact agreement with the records, they are close enough.
