Olivia Moe and Ole Dunhom were children of Norwegian immigrants who traveled to the US as small children with their families. They lived on neighboring farms in Kandiyohi County, MN in 1875. She was 9 and he was 16. Eleven years later, when she was 20, they were married. They farmed, made a bunch of babies, and really never ventured far from their childhood homes. Two of their sons, Iver and Benny, served in WWI though Iver died in training. Benny survived however and returned to Minnesota.
