Eileen McCaffrey, 78 of Sawkill Road, Town of died on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at home.

She was born in Brooklyn on May 24, 1930, a daughter of the late Patrick and Helen O'Kelly McCarthy. She was a member of "Friends of St. Ann's".

She is survived by her husband, the former Police Chief of Tuxedo Park Police Dept. Edward J. McCaffrey of Sawkill, two daughters Joanne Harris of Warwick and Patricia Iazzetti of Tuxedo.

Two grandsons and a brother William McCarthy of Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania also survive. She is predeceased by her son Edward P. McCaffrey.

A procession will form Monday 9:00 am at the Gilpatric-Murphy Funeral Home, 27 Smith Ave., a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ann's Church at 10:00am.

Cremation Wiltwyck Crematory. Inurnment will be in private in St. Ann's Cemetery, Sawkill, NYEileen McCaffrey

Eileen McCaffrey, 78, of Sawkill Road, Town of Kingston, went home to our Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at home.

She was born in Brooklyn on May 24, 1930, a daughter of the late Patrick and Helen (O'Kelly) McCarthy.

She was a member of "Friends of St. Ann's".

She is survived by her husband, the former Police Chief of Tuxedo Park Police Dept., Edward J. McCaffrey of Sawkill; two daughters, Joanne Harris and her husband, Henry of Warwick and Patricia Iazzetti and her husband, Thomas of Tuxedo; two grandsons, Thomas and Aiden Iazzetti of Tuxedo, and a brother, William McCarthy of Mt. Joy, PA also survive. She is predeceased by her son, Edward P. McCaffrey.

Friends will be received at the Gilpatric Murphy Funeral Home, 27 Smith Ave., on Sunday, October 5, from 4 to 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Church at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 6. Friends may gather at the funeral home at 9 a.m. for the procession to the church.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to: Friends of St. Ann's, c/o Rosalie Kilfoyle, 1251 Sawkill Road, Kingston, NY, 12401.
