Ruth Jager

JUNCTION CITY — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at Junction City Methodist Church for Ruth Jager of Junction City, who died May 22 of Alzheimer's disease. She was 77.

She was born May 30, 1934, in Britton, S.D., to Barron and Grace Baird Buttke. She married Raymond Jager on April 12, 1958, in Eugene.

She graduated as class valedictorian at Forman High School. She completed a one-year program at business college in Aber­deen, S.D.

She worked as a secretary for Trump McKinley Insurance and on the family farm.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gordon of Junction City and Mark of Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Jayne Guidinger of The Dalles; a brother, Roger Buttke of Veneta; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield.

Remembrances may be sent to the memorial fund at Junction City United Methodist Church.
