Sean Mercer, 37, of Waco, passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest on Sunday, May 27, 2012, in a local hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012, in Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff.

Sean was born in Big Spring, Texas, to David and Jacqueline Mercer. He attended McLennan Community College and worked as a carpenter for the last several years. Sean loved music, playing the guitar and singing.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Mercer; as well as several other relatives.

Sean is survived by his wife, Melissa; children, Lauren, Sean Jr., and Aron Mercer; his father, David Mercer and wife, Linda; his mother, Jackie Cohen; and many other relatives and friends.
