Funeral services for Arline Juanita Butter Holloway will be held at 10 am, Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the Amiable Baptist Church of Glenmora with Rev. Bert Riddle and Rev. Donald Lee Willis officiating. Committal services will follow in the Butter Cemetery of Forest Hill, under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home of Oakdale.
Arline, 92, of Forest Hill, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 28, 2012 in her residence. She was born on May 3, 1920 in Forest Hill, to the union of Randle and Isabella Henderson Butter. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Amiable Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ibrey Ivey Holloway; and daughter, Wanda Holloway Tullar.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, her children, R.B. Holloway (Mary) of Glenmora, Glen Holloway (Diane) of Gardner, Carol Holloway Lamkin, Chip Holloway (Carol) all of Forest Hill, and Pam Holloway Fender (Wayne) of Lake Charles; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
