Mrs. Mary Hawkins
Mapleton-- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Hawkins, 95, Mankato, former Mapleton resident who died Sunday at the Mankato Home, will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Mapleton, Mgsr. William Schmiek officiating.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport, Minn. Visitation began this afternoon at Tichenor Funeral Home in Mapleton, continuing until time of services on Wednesday. There will be a rosary prayer service 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hawkins was born Nov. 25, 1874. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick, and a son, James.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Cecil Callahan of Stillwater, and Mrs. Chris Abrahamson of Mapleton; a son, Joseph of Owatonna; two foster children, Mrs. David Foley of St. Paul and Robert Adams of Chicago; a brother, Timothy Adams of Waldorf; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
