P.W. BRIERY, FORMER WOODBURN MAN, DIES

P W Briery, former Woodburn real estate agent and more recently of Portland, was buried yesterday afternoon in Belle Passi cemetery beside the body of his wife who died several years ago. Mr. Briery passed away on Monday morning at a hospital in Portland. He was 71 years old.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Ringo chapel, with Verle Kliewer of the Hubbard Gospel hall officiating.

Mr. Briery was born November 29, 1868, in Wisconsin. He is survived by a daughter Mrs. Ruth Dryer of El Monte, California, a son Ralph of El Monte, and a son Clifford of Philadelphia.

Pallbearers at the funeral were JC Wageman, Mike Koch, E C Blust, W A Haskins, George C Cole and Rev J L Green.
