Lamond Benson Keller, 78, passed away at his home in Albion on Thursday, May 31, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.

Lamond was born May 11, 1934, in Mink Creek, Idaho, the son of Rulon Morgan and Margaret (Benson) Keller. He graduated from Caldwell High School and from Brigham Young University in Provo, with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. He married Betty Jo Garber and together, they had three children, Jeffrey Charles, Laura and Jay. They later divorced. On Oct. 24, 1970, Lamond married Sue Ellen Bulloch Callaway in Albion. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Twin Falls LDS Temple on July 27, 2011. Joining this union was Sue Ellen's daughter, Lori Lynn. Lamond and Sue Ellen then had two sons, Kristen James and Lance Bulloch. Lamond worked throughout his life as a livestock nutritional specialist. He loved horses and his career. He was a dedicated husband, loving father and a special grandfather. As a member of the LDS Church, he served a mission in northern California, was a Scoutmaster and was a beloved Sunday school teacher of the teenage class.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Ellen Keller of Albion; his children, Jeffrey Charles Keller of Nampa, Laura (Brent) Moyland of Caldwell, Jay (Andrea) Keller of Rigby, Lori Lynn Clayson and Kristen James Keller, both of Albion, and Lance Bulloch Keller of Burley; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, George (Shareen) Keller of Nampa and James (Renee) Keller of Meridian; and one sister, Marue Simmons of Provo, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Clair Clayson; and two sisters, Marco Foresgren and Beth Thompson.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at the Albion LDS Church with Bishop Randy Brackenbury officiating. Burial will be in the Albion City Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, June 4, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St. in Burley, and from 1 until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
