PAUL LIEN DIED MONDAY NIGHT

Paul Lien passed away at Wesley Hospital in Wadena late Monday night. He underwent an operation for ruptured appendix a week ago Sunday and after rallying for a few days his condition took a turn for the worse and death came late Monday night.

Paul, who was only 19 years of age, had been employed as helper in the local Peterson-Biddick Co. store and was a highly respected and pleasant youth who was very popular among his friends. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. O.K. Lien of Rockwood township and had lived in this community all his life.

Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon and brief services later in the Holiness church in Wadena. Burial will be made in the Wadena cemetery.
