She worked as a cook at Clearfield Job Corps for many years. A lifelong member of the LDS Church, she served in the Primary, Relief Society, MIA and was a visiting teacher. She was also a Daughter of the Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, reading, making candy and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Naurine was a loving mother and is survived by children: Dave (Kimberlee), Doug, Zelda, Dorine (Jeff) and Aleshia (Kevan); 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three more on the way. Also survived by special friends Tara Palmer and Tina Reif.
Preceded in death by a son Roby, daughter Susanna, granddaughter Trina, two brothers, Hugh and Dean and three sisters, Zelda, Inez and Viola.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Syracuse 2nd Ward Chapel, 1660 West 2228 South. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park, Sandy, Utah.
