Mrs. Hulda Berth, 65, of 712 Millersville Ave., Howards Grove, widow of Herman, died early today at St. Nicholas Hospital after a lingering illness.
Born May 17,, 1909, in the Town of Herma, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Martha Bruessow Grohskopf.
On Aug. 10, 1935, she married Mr. Berth. The couple farmed in Millersville until 1946. Mr. Berth died in 1968.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Town of Herman.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Erna) Wichmann of Howards Grove; four grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert Grohskopf of Oregon and Hugo of Kiel. and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Ehrenrich of Elkhart Lake and Mrs. Viola Siemer of Sheboygan.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Church, Herman. The Rev. Henry Juroff, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral Home in Howards Grove after 4 p.m. Friday, until 11 a.m. Saturday, and at church from noon until the time of services.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Berth's name.
