Daughter of William Stringfellow & Rebecca Martin

Jesse & Elizabeth married in 1787 in Richmond County,NC.

Elizabeth and my 5th Great Grandfather are buried on thier original plantation which is now a private farm in Richmond County. The Baldwin Family association placed new markers for them June 21 1954. This not a cenotaph. It does mark thier actual burial location right in the middle of a cow pasture. There is a chain link fence surrounding the cemetery but as I was in there taking photos all the hungry, curious cows all came over there. One cow knocked part of the fence down stepping on it trying to eat leaves off a tree. I had to go over there and shoo them away and prop the fence back up. The cows had all gotten in there at some point before and ate most of the vegatation and made a mess of the stones. Some were knocked over and laying face down in the mud. The fence needs to be repaired. This cemetery is not easily accessible and I had to face many hazards to get there. I tried to take quite a few photos to share my adventure with everyone. Please feel free to use my photos for your family trees.
