LAWRENCEBURG - Claude Dedman, 83, retired farmer who lived near here on Bardstown Road, died al 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in an ambulance on the way to King's Daughters Hospital, Frankfort. He had suffered a heart attack earlier in the morning. He was a deacon of Lawrenceburg Christian Church. He was the stepfather of Lewis Tinsley, Shelbyville, and a half brother of Ollie Best, Louisville. (Published in The Louisville Courier-Journal on Wednesday, June 19, 1963)

Claud was the son of Thomas Grunda Dedman & Edna "Eddie" T. Bentley (married 26 Dec. 1878 in Anderson Co. Ky.) He married 1st. 23 Aug. 1900 in Anderson Co. Ky., Ida Cook.
