SANTA ROSA, TX. - Gloria Leal Salas, 51, a lifetime resident of Santa Rosa passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in San Antonio Texas.
She was born March 4, 1961 to Jose B. and Berta Castaneda Leal in Mercedes Texas.
She is survived by her husband; Pedro Salas Jr., 2 Sons: Eric and Christopher Salas, Mother: Berta Castaneda Leal all of Santa Rosa, Texas, Brother; Leroy (Mary Quintero) Leal of Weslaco, Texas, Mother in Law; Amelia Salas of Santa Rosa, Sister in Law: Janie (Albert) Olivarez of Santa Rosa, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her father: Jose B. Leal.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 8, 2012. We will depart Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. mass at St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church in La feria Texas.
Interment will then follow at Mercedes Restlawn Cemetery in Mercedes Texas.
Gloria was a loving and dedicated daughter, sister and wife. She is and will forever be loved and missed by all those who knew her.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Mercedes, Texas.
