Highway Accident In Italy Claims Second Montanan

Lewistown (AP)-A prominent Billings businessman and civic leader, Paul Alweis, died in a hospital in Italy, the second victim of a Sept. 23 traffic accident, his brother, Lester Alweis of Lewiston, reported Wednesday.

Killed outright in the crash was John Rosetto of Billings. Wives of the two men were injured .

The two couples left Billings on Labor Day and flew to Italy on a pleasure trip. They were enroute to Milan.

Police said an Italian car coming from the opposite direction collided with the Americans' car as the Italian car was trying to pass a third vehicle near the Italian community of Brescia.

Air Force Flying Billings Woman Home After Being Injured in Crash in Italy

Washington (AP)-An Air Force plane flew homeward today with a Montana woman who was critically injured in an automobile accident in Italy which took the life of her husband.

Mrs. Barbara Alweis of Billings was injured and her husband, Paul, 46, killed in an accident near Breschia, about 30 miles from Milan, earlier this month.
