Aunt of Mrs. W. O. Reed Buried at Ladonia Friday
Funeral services were held Friday at Ladonia for Mrs. W. A. Davidson, 67 years of age, who died at a Commerce hospital. The rites were conducted by Rev. L. E. Vandivert, Methodist pastor, assisted by Rev. J. P. Luton, former pastor now of Roanoke, and Rev. W. A. Roach, retired Presbyterian minister. Burial was at the Ladonia Cemetery. Deceased was an aunt of Mrs. W. O. Reed of Hooks, former resident of Honey Grove.
Born in Grayson County, Mrs. Davidson moved to Ladonia from Roxton at the age of two weeks. She was married to W. A. Davidson, who has been dead four years. For about twenty years Mrs. Davidson ran a millinery shop in Ladonia. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include one foster son, Tom Merrick of Dallas; one brother, J. L. Isom of Ladonia; one sister, Mrs. Ida Hughes of Ladonia; four nephews and three nieces.
