Mrs. Fairchild, 84, Dies; Rites Set For Wednesday
Mrs. Sarah E. Fairchild, age 84, widow of Isaac Fairchild, died at the home of her son, James, at 1607 C Ave., at 2:00 a.m. today following an illness of several months. (Her birth year was approximated.)
Sarah was a member of Kings Chapel Methodist Church near Monticello, KY.
Surviving besides the son, James Fairchild, is four brothers: James Taylor of Somerset, KY, John & L.V. Taylor, both of Hidalgo, KY and Marshall Taylor of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Fox and Macer Funeral Home after 7:00 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with Reverend Herman Ast officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
