The youngest and seventh child of August A. Busch Jr. and his wife Gertrude, Christina died December 17 at St John's Mercy Hospital after an eight car accident on I 270 while being driven home from school on December 6. The chauffer was killed instantly, her brother Andrew, also a passenger in the Volkswagen van survived. She was eight years old.
After her death she was taken to the family home at Grants Farm. Sisters of Mercy held an all night vigil. John Joseph Cardinal Carberry celebrated the funeral Mass at home the day after her death.
The third grade class she attended dedicated the Christmas program to her.
