Dorothy, passed away at home in Bluewater, NM, on June 13, 2012. She was born in Midland, TX, graduated from Grants Union High School and New Mexico State University. Dot, as she was known to many, raised a family and then taught third grade for many years at Bluewater Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wallace Rowley of Bluewater, children, George Rowley of Tucson, and Carolyn Reese of Carlsbad; brother, Arthur Goolsby of Bloomfield; grandchildren Cheryl Brown of Rio Rico, AZ, Annette Peacock of Bangcock, Thailand, Gene Rowley of Phoenix, Kyle Reese of Denver; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. One was not a stranger for long around Dot. She will be greatly missed.
∼Dorothy Graduated from New Mexico State University and then taught third grade for many years at Bluewater Elementary School.
