Henry G. Beatty
Romney – Henry Garfield Beatty, 88, of 396 West Rosemary Lane, died Saturday in Hampshire Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hampshire County, he was a son of the late Hugh and Nancy Ann (Starnes) Beatty.
Mr. Beatty is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lulu (Shanholtzer) Beatty, four daughters, the Misses Goldie and Alice Beatty both at home; Mrs. Guy Hoffman, Yuma, Ariz., and Mrs. George Shanholtz, Romney; three sons, Guy and Bernard Beatty, both at home and Garland G. Beatty, Yuma; a brother Edward Beatty, Romney and three grandchildren.
The body is at the Shaffer Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Dr. C. E. Brandt officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
