She was a soldier's daughter and born in Ostra Amtervik parish. She married 26 December 1880, Nils Johan Soderquist. They lived on a small one room home that he inherited from his father,Kulltorp, near lake Fölsjön. He was a carpenter in the summer and shoemaker in the winter.

Per the family tradition, she drowned in the small local lake, Fölsjön, near the farm. On 14 November 1881, she was riding in a sleigh and it broke thru the ice. She was eight months pregnant. The horse and sleigh went down and she paniced and held on with a death grip to the sleigh. When they brought up the sleigh she was still holding onto it, she and the horse drowned.

We don't have a picture of her. She was buried in the parish churchyard without a permanent marker as was the custom.
