She married John Winberg in Sweden Oct 1878, who was the father of three of her children: Ida Christina, Carl Gustaf, and Anna Louise.
She emigrated to America on April 11, 1894, on the ship Slavonia (Helsingborg to New York City), with her daughter Louise. Ida and Carl emigrated later.
On September 23, 1896, she married Louis Pierson in Loup City, NE, and their son Oscar Louis Pierson was born in 1897.
She was a member of the Balsora Baptist Church at the time of her death. In her latter years of failing health she was cared for by her children Oscar Pierson and Louise Sandh of the home. She was also survived by daughter Ida Matthews of Oakland, CA, and her son Carl Winberg of Weldona, CO, and six grandchldren.
