Death overtook Mrs. Jessie Eleanor Darnall Armbruster, wife of Bert Armbruster,at the family home in Jordan last Tuesday morning. She had been bedfast for about 4 months after being seriously ill for two and one-half years. Death came peacefully after four months of suffering with malignant cancer of the breast.
Funeral services will be held a 2 o'clock tomorrow (Friday)
Jessie Eleanor Darnall was born on a homestead near Springfield Ill March 4, 1881. In the spring of 1883 she moved with her parents, John F and Minnie Darnall, to Edgar, Neb. They came to Miles City MT in 1895. In 1902 they moved onto the Missouri River near Snow Creek, 40 mile northwest of Jordan, where Mr. Darnall raised cattle.
In 1904 she was married to Hubert Armbruster in Glasgow,Mt. They lived on the Missouri in Valley County until 1918 when the family moved to Jordan.
Born to Mr and Mrs Armbruster were five children, four of whom are living. She leaves besides her husband Bert Armbruster, three daughters; Mrs. L. G Jacobs Mrs. E.M. Sayler, both of Douglas, WY. and Jean Armbruster: a son Bert Jr; one sister, Mrs D.G. Hubbard: and her father, John F Darnall. six grandchildren, six nieces, six nephews, three aunts, and two uncles.
Her mother, Mrs Minnie Darnall died here seven years ago.
