John Blank was born on 10 May, 1870 and Baptized on 11 May 1870 at Kosccierzyna Parish in Barent Germany. He was the son of Anton and Margaretha Blank, nee Lepak. John Came to the U.S. at the age of 16 ( 1887 ). Lived in Chicago where he married Agnes Jazdzewska on 26 May 1892 at ST. Stanislaus Kostka Church. In 1910 the family moved to Kenosha WI.
His wife proceeded him in death July 27, 1921. Survived by six sons, Frank E., John D., Walter, Mary ( Alvin) Christensen, Peter B., Bernard J.,Margaret (Ed) Altohoff' George & Harry L.
