ALDAH A. MELHORN of 905 Short Ave., Cresson, died at 8:16 p.m. yesterday, April 19, 1977, at Altoona Hospital. Mr. Melhorn was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was born May 30, 1903, in Allegheny Township, a son of Jonathan and Lydia (Eckenrode) Melhorn, and married Geraldine Melhorn. Surviving are his wife, four children, Vaughn of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Lois Hoffman and John of Sharon and Lynn at home; 15 grandchildren, and two sisters and a brother, Roy of Harrisburg, Mrs. Caroline Billetdeaux of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Marie Clark of Johnstown. Mr. Melhorn was a member of the Brotherhood of Trainmen and Locomotive Engineers. Friends will be received in the Casher-Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
