Kristina was born April 20, 1983 to Clinton Ray and Martha Jean (Gailey) Mortensen of Animas, NM. Due to complications of pregnacy Kristina was born three and a half months early in Phoenix, AZ. She lived of six days and then returned to her loving Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her sister Cynthia Ann Mortensen. Her surviving relatives were her parents Clinton and Martha, her sister Lynna Dale and brother Clint Mortensen. Her paternal grandparent Harry Marcel and Lorna (Pace) Mortensen of Animas, NM and maternal grandparents Ernest Lee and Martha Norine (Jacobson) Gailey of Phoenix, AZ.
Since her death she has two more sisters Stacie and Lori Lynn.
