JACOB HARRISON DEAD
Jacob Harrison, colored, died yesterday afternoon at 2:20 o'clock at his home, Twelfth Avenue and Eskridge Street. Mr. Harrison was born in Jefferson County, Ky., March 3, 1830. He settled in Emporia 30 years ago. Mrs. Jefferson died in Kentucky. Mr. Harrison is survived by a sister, Mrs. Susan Barber, of Emporia, and a niece, Mary White, of Emporia. He was a member of the St. James Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 at the home. Rev. C.P. Morrow, pastor of the St. James Baptist Church, will conduct the services. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

FUNERAL OF JACOB HARRISON
Funeral services for Jacob Harrison were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home on Twelfth Avenue and Eskridge Street. Rev. C.P. Morrow, pastor of the St. James Baptist Church, conducted the services. Pall bearers were O. Flowers, George Jobe, E. Epps, C. Woods, M. collier an H. Jones. Interment was made in Maplewood Cemetery.
