MRS. NAOMI DAVIS DEAD
Mrs. Naomi Davis died at 2 o'clock Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Flora Knopf, four and one-half miles south of Allen. A week ago she sustained a stroke of paralysis, which combined with her extreme age, soon brought fatal results. Mrs. Davis was 85 years old. She was born at Westfield, Ind., and spent most of her life in that state. Since her husband's death, she had lived with her children. For the past two years she had been with the family of her daughter, near Allen. Mrs. Davis was a life-long member of the Friends Church, and followed its teachings faithfully. Her life was wrapped up in her children and their families. Mrs. Davis leaves three sons and one daughter, the sons being Amos Davis, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Will Davis, of Scott City, Kan.; Isaac Davis, of Friendwood, Tex., and the daughter, Mrs. Kopf (sic). Besides these, she leaves ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs. Davis had never lived in Lyon county, except as the guest of her children.
