"Mrs. Lepha Chase passed away in Burlington Flats, Wednesday evening of last week, following a stroke and illness of five weeks. She was born in Burlington on January 4, 1862, a daughter of William and Harriet Neff Millis. In March, 1880 she was united in marriage with Floyd Chase who died in December, 1934. Their entire life was spent in Burlington except four years in Cooperstown. To this union were born two children, Lynn Chase, who survives and lives in Burlington Flats, one daughter, Lena passed away several years ago. Mrs. Chase also has four grandchildren, Mrs. Edward Salisbury, Utica, Rexford Chase of New Berlin and Mrs. Adelbert Houk of Burlington Flats and Lloyd Fitch of West Burlington and one great granddaughter of West Burlington; also one sister, Mrs. LaVantia Milbert, Burlington Flats; one nephew, Ray Milbert, Burlington Flats ...
