Sherrill, better known as "Cornbread Johnson" was a faithful Christian, raising his three children to be faithful Christians, passing on a heritage of a Christian family. He enjoyed spending time roaming his ranch, "The Silver Ponderosa" on his Tennessee Walker, Champagne. He always enjoyed having his grandchildren and great-grandchildren around. Sherrill worked in the insurance industry for many years.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Little was preceded in death by his sister, Chesteen Harrison; brother, Walden P. "Red" Little; sons, Daniel Harrison Little and Lilburn Little and grandson, Trey Dobbs.
