Funeral To Be At Lynchburg Friday Afternoon
Miss Laura Cloud, 84, former resident of Lynchburg, died of complications at the home of her nephew, Silas Vance, 424 North Spring street, Wednesday at 4:45 A.M. She was ill for four months.
The daughter of J.L. and Ann M. Cloud she was born near Lynchburg, May 9, 1856. She was a member of the Lynchburg Methodist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Walter of Lynchburg, and Ezra, Summitville, Ink., and a sister Mrs. Addie Vance, Wilmington.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. A.R.Read at the K.K. Davis Funeral Home, Lynchburg, Friday at 2 P.M. interment will be in the Lynchburg cemetery

Miss Laura Cloud passed away at the home of a nephew, Silas Vance, at Wilmington, Wednesday morning at the age of 84 years and ten months. The body was brought to the Davis Funeral Home and funeral services were held Friday afternoon with Rev. A. R. Read in charge. Miss Cloud spent the greater part of her life in this vicinity and was highly respected. Surviving her are one sister, Mrs. Addie Vance, two brothers, Ezra Cloud, of Summitville, Ind., and Walter Cloud , of near Lynchburg, and numerous nephews and nieces. Among those from a distance attending the obsequies were; Mrs. Pearl Cloud and Daughters, of Henrietta, Oklahoma., Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Cloud, Mrs. Otis Ramsey, of Anderson, Ind., and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ramsey and daughter of Warren, Ind.
