He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.
He worked for many years as a cook at Vaughn's Catfish Cafe in Guntersville, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory a son: Johnny Neal (Teresa) Stewart, Pheonix Arizona; four grandchildresn: Sonya, Jessica, Michelle and Erick Stewart; a sister: Mattie Williams, Guntersville, Alabama; a brother: Thomas W.
